Teaching & Learning SeminarsHKUST aims to offer good quality teaching to its students, but reckons that it is a challenging task to deliver good common core courses that meet the manifold objectives of the common core program, and achieve the goal of nurturing our students as a whole-person. The Undergraduate Core Education (UCE) Team, Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies works closely with Schools and other units to organize various teaching and learning seminars that would facilitate the exchange and sharing of experiences among faculty in the teaching of common core courses, support the teachers in the design of pedagogies and assessment strategies, and to promote collaboration in teaching across departments and disciplines.
