We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Common Core Awards are now open for submissions to recognize outstanding instructors for their contributions to exemplary common core courses and students for their exceptional achievements in common core studies.
Common Core Teaching Excellence Award
Any instructor or team of instructors who has designed and/or taught a common core course or common core courses of the 36-credit or 30-credit Common Core Program between 1 January and 31 December 2025 could be nominated for the Common Core Teaching Excellence Award.

Common Core Student Recognition Award
Any full-time undergraduate students in any year of study who have completed at least 21 common core credits under the 30-credit common core curriculum at HKUST are welcome to apply for the Common Core Student Recognition Award.
