工作坊旨在讓學生透過身體實踐，認識及體驗具有五千多年中國傳統文化的舞蹈藝術。學生將認識中國雅俗文化的歷史發展和風格特徵；通過老師的講授及示範，培養學生對舞蹈藝術的鑒賞力。從學習到身體力行，提高個人藝術素質，達到身體和精神的綜合發展。[Pu] [C]

This is an introductory workshop series on Chinese folk dance aiming at enhancing students’ knowledge and experience on this art form and the Chinese culture associated through hands-on studio practice. Students will be able to understand and appreciate the history, development, as well as characteristics of this art form in different historical periods through introductions on the background of Chinese dance and instructor’s demonstration. Hands-on activities are emphasized to help students learn the basic skills of Chinese folk dance and experience using it as a medium of expression. [PU] [C]
