HKUST is honored to be invited to partner with Hong Kong String Orchestra (HKSO) to host the mentorship programme. Mentees will have the chance to learn from professional musicians and give a final performance on stage with the renowned violinist, Artistic Director of HKSO, Yao Jue 姚玨. More than that, outstanding participants will be invited to join the 21st Century Joint University Orchestra and perform with Maestro Tan Dun 譚盾in March.

Reasons to join the programme:

- it’s open to all string players at Grade 5 or above level;
- you will receive training by professional musicians;
- you can share the stage with elite musicians;
- you can establish a network with music professionals;
- a promising future to become member of an outstanding orchestra for rising stars

(2) Submit 2 audition video-recordings to Dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/request/QF4f5GA5xIz1esvQZ2qL). Please include 2 works from different periods (Baroque/Classical/Romantic/Modern)
