This is a seminar on how drama, especially actor’s training and story-telling, could help re-connect the mind and the body to make us feel more in touch with our inner self and help us tap into the resources within. We will explore how some simple exercises of actor’s training could help us feel more emotionally and physically balanced, focused, at ease, and be open to what happens in the outside world. Through the sharing of stories about our bodies, we will explore a new way to get in touch with the self and the physical body, which would give us new insights and reflection on our life experiences, internal as well as external strengths, so that we could feel more capable of living in and interacting with the world in a more mindful, satisfying and harmonious way. |
