Regulations for the University Common Core
Fulfillment of the University Common Core requirements is subject to the following considerations:
- Students must select courses from the common core course list and take them in the academic year in which they are listed. Courses not included on the list for the specified year cannot be used to satisfy the common core requirements.
- Courses that are listed under more than one common core area can only be used to count towards one of the listed areas, but not all.
- Common core courses may be used to satisfy other graduation requirements, subject to other restrictions as specified by the student’s major program (if any).
-
For those students enrolled in more than one major program, the reuse of common core courses should comply with the individual restrictions as specified by the students’ major programs.
